October First Friday

Well October is not as far away as it may seem.

And if you are looking for something to do this school holidays we have a free activity for teens aged 12 - 18 years.

This time around we're going to be making frames for a mirror. We will supply all of the materials needed including the mirror and all you have to do is show up. All our activities are free so why not give it a go.

Come along to the Gordon White Library October 6 from 3:30pm.

Just remember to give us a call and book as spaces are limited.

See you there.

Poll Results and New Poll

Well I have closed down our last poll which if you don't remember was "What is the best movie out this school holidays?"
Pirates of the Caribean: Dead Man's Chest was the winning movie with 65% of the votes.

Now if you think that is wrong don't forget to vote in our new poll which is "What is the best single out at the moment?" It takes 5 seconds to vote so have a go. Just scroll down towards the bottom of the page to see the poll.

And if you have any ideas for a new poll simply click on the comment below and tell me.

Happy voting
Miss N.

First Fridays

Well I missed telling you about our First Friday event for August but I'm going to get in early enough to tell you about Septembers.

On September 1 from 3:30 to 5:oo at the Mackay City Library teens aged 12 - 18 years are invited to join a free memory wire beading class. We're planning to make braclets. If you haven't attended a First Friday event I can strongly recommend them. For starters they are FREE and whatever you make you can keep so why not give it a go.

If you're not interested in beading but are curious at what we've done in the past I'll give you a quick run down of what we have done so far this year.
Augst - Scoubidou
July - Candle Decorating
June - Scrapbooking
May - Marbling
April - Glass Painting
March - Dream Catchers
February - Tye Dying
January - Mobiles

We're hoping to have a body jam class before the end of the year and we're always interseted in any ideas you might have for these sessions.

So think about coming and joining in all you have to do is give us a call and book in and then show up on the day.

Hope to see you there

Tell us what you want

We have put together this blog so you guys can get in our heads. Up until now I haven't really known what I should do with this blog, but I've decided to make an effort. But for my efforts to have any effect I need you guys out there to make and effort in return.

If you don't know much about blogs and you want to add a comment to our blog choose the post that you want to comment on and at the end of the post will be comments underlined, click on this and you can comment away. You're comments won't appear right away they come to me first so I can ensure that no junk is being posted, because I don't want to see that and I'm sure you don't want to see that.

I don't know what you want from this blog so if you have any ideas feel free to tell me. For example if you'd like a Sudoku game put on the blog weekly I can do that (I think). If you want links to particular sites I can do that too. All you need to do is tell me what sites are good that you think we should link to, these can be gaming, movies, music or whatever. If you have an idea for a poll let me know and when I change the poll I might use yours.

I'll try my best to keep on top of entries and fun things to do but if you think this blog is boring tell me and tell me why and if you can tell me how to fix it.

Have fun and laugh lots.
Miss N.
